If required, we can also create the models - both for the sand casting process as well as the lost wax process. The model creation process also has changed a lot in recent years. There are plastics now that replace wax and can be shaped by metal-cutting.

The model can, for example, be a prototype printed by a 3D-Plotter from a data set. A 3D data set suited for the further casting process can also be created from an existing model or a 3D-light-field-photograph.

Machining centers such as 3-axis CNC machines can carve such models.

This technology makes enlarging or recuding of an existing model a snap.

Furthermore, we can create so-called cold bronzes from alabaster, plastics, fiberglass, or even laminate and concrete casting.
